Описание

Saint Etienne’s Foxbase Alpha brings house beats, ambient passages and pop songwriting into a record shaped by London and its club culture. First released in 1991, the debut moves easily from ‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart’ to ‘Nothing Can Stop Us’, with shorter pieces helping give the album its own sense of place.

This white-vinyl reissue presents all thirteen tracks, including ‘Carnt Sleep’, ‘Spring’ and ‘London Belongs To Me’. The appeal is in how those different elements sit together: songs with a clear pop instinct, dance music rhythms and room for quieter details between them. A chance to hear the whole album’s flow on a single LP.
